About The Author

Karen Kamenwa is the founder of Royal Online Business Solutions, a virtual assistant company. She has spent the last ten years mastering the art of running a successful business while raising her two sons as a stay-at-home single mother. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Design, is a certified online business manager, has completed CEO Business School, and awaits the receipt of her Integrative Wellness Life Coaching certification.

Karen began her entrepreneurial journey at the age of eighteen when she started her first tutoring business. Over the years, she continued to build her business acumen through her work experience in large multinational organizations such as British American Tobacco, the parent company of Reynolds American; and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Along with her continued education, trainings, and years of experience serving diverse and dynamic small business owners and online enterprises, Karen is considered an expert in the virtual assistant industry.

Karen’s desire to earn a living without sacrificing quality time with her children was the catalyst for starting her business. She built a business that not only provides services to its clients and financially sustains her family and its workers, but also enables her to spend time with her family, volunteer at her church and in her local community, and invest her resources in causes that she believes in. In short, she has designed a life of purpose that she enjoys and is proud of.

With her experience, knowledge, and expertise, she helps mothers start virtual assistant businesses so that they can have financial freedom and flexibility to design lives they love, enjoy, and can afford without compromising quality time with their families.

When she is not working on her business, she volunteers at Thrive Single Moms, a non-profit organization, as the Training & Curriculum Development Director, and hosts a small group Bible study at her home.

Karen lives in California with her two wonderful sons. She enjoys supporting and empowering single mothers, reading, hiking, and spending time and having fun with family and friends. On the weekend, she is often found on the sidelines of sports fields cheering her athletic sons.
